BRRRR..... time for some chili

So earlier this week it snowed here in VA.

Snow in VA?!?! Where did my beach town go?

So since it snowed and was SUPER cold (it was 19 degrees) I decided to make some chili to warm me up.

Ingredients:

1 red bell pepper
2 green bell peppers
1 yellow onion
2 cloves of garlic
chili seasoning
1 can of pinto beans
1 can of kidney beans
2 cans of diced tomatoes
hominy
1 pound of ground beef

First you are going to cook your meat. I like to add the garlic in with my meat so it has a little bit of flavor. Once your meat is done cooking drain it and set it aside.

While your meat is cooking dice up all your veggies and put them in your pot.

After your veggies have cooked for about 10 minutes or so add all your veggies and beans.

Then add the meat and seasoning.

Let simmer for at least 30 minutes then serve. To get a really good taste I like to put it on low and simmer for about 6 hours or so.
